I have serious mixed emotions. I found out awhile ago that some dear friends of mine are coming back from across the other side of the world!! HOORAY. But I just found out a week ago that some other dear friends are moving. These friends had so much impact on my life, it's so hard to say goodbye. But how can I not be happy for them?! They're going on a new adventure. One that God has called them to. And as for the returning friends, my heart is so overjoyed, but yet feeling sorrow that they have to say goodbye. Because all at once this goodbye stuff seems pretty serious. And not fun at all. So as I sit here and write this, with my heart all over the place, all I have to say is cherish the moment. Save it, and keep it in your heart. Because when that moment is gone, you'll always have it with you.
And to top it all off, we only have two weeks of summer left. TWO WEEKS. I am one sad blogger.
I wish I was young again.

Ready
This past week I was at a youth camp at Spencer Lake. It was incredible. My life was radically changed, and Jesus opened my eyes. Jesus filled my heart with his Holy presence, and I will never be the same. That empty hole in my heart that can ONLY be filled by Jesus, WAS filled by Him last week. It was perfect. I was finally at peace.
My heart it ready. My soul is ready. Jesus, I'm ready for you. I'm ready to do something magnificent for you. I'm ready to be your hands and feet. I'm ready. I'm ready, now.

Blogging
I love blogging. Because this is me. It isn't any one else, or anything else.
It's where I can say what I truly feel without anyone interrupting.
It's a bit of sanity, in an insane life.

Best friend.
I have a best friend. Yes, he is a boy, and yes, that is okay. He is wonderful, and I'm happy to know he'll always be there for me. We see each other all the time. Sometimes we fight. A lot. But maybe that's just because our personalities are very similar. The good of our friendship outweighs the bad by a long shot. Thanks, Andrew Brenton. You'll always be one of (if not) my closest friends. (And I hope if we ever go to a nursing home, we get put in the same one!)
Here's some more pictures of us throughout the years.

In Beauty
In beauty may I walk
All day long may I walk
Through the returning seasons may I walk
Beautifully will I possess again
Beautifully birds,
Beautifully joyful birds
On the trail marked with pollen may I walk
With grasshoppers about my feet may I walk
With dew about my feet may I walk
With beauty may I walk
With beauty before me may I walk
With beauty behind me may I walk
With beauty above me may I walk
With beauty all around me may I walk
In old age, wandering on a trail of beauty, lively, may I walk
In old age, wandering on a trail of beauty, living again, may I walk
It is finished in beauty.
It is finished in beauty.

Burn, baby burn.
WOW. It is hot outside. The kind of hot where all you want to do is sit in your house by the nearest vent. Seriously, people. The past few weeks have been in the upper 80s. And that doesn't even include the heat index (which is what it ACTUALLY feels like with the humidity.). It's crazy. Anyways, besides the heat I've had an amazing few weeks! Summer is already half over, and I'm sad about that. But I'm looking forward to the new adventures that are coming this fall.
