I am overjoyed with thankfulness.
Yesterday I got a text from my dad saying that my brother, Andy, had gotten into a car accident. There wasn't much detail, so I started to cry. It's not much fun to be sitting in class crying. People you look at you funny! Anyways, that's besides the point. A couple texts later my dad sent me a picture. And I thought for sure that my brother was in a state of critical condition. It turned out that he lost control of the wheel because he was on gravel, flew into the ditch, and flipped. Four times. How terrifying. I can't imagine anything like that happening. I'm happy he was wearing his seatbelt. I'm so thankful that he is okay. He has a broken clavicle bone, and his car is totaled. But it's better to pay for a new car, and some medical bills than to pay for a funeral. Thank you, Jesus for protecting him. To You be the glory.

Sea of Green
Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody. This day is very special to our family. We are mostly Irish, and my mother loves green. Like really loves green. Anyways, today it was 80 degrees out. 80. Do you hear that? Yeah, I know. Crazy. We spent most of the day outside enjoying the nice weather. We also spent some of the day at the St. Patrick's Day parade. My sister has the lead in her school's musical, and so she was in it. As Belle, from Beauty and the Beast. That was so fun, and there was a huge turn out because of the beautiful weather. Then after that, we went to McDonalds to get Shamrock shakes, to support the green-ness of the day. Then we came home, and grilled out for supper. All in all it's been a great day. I know that I haven't really been blogging much, and updating my life. So I thought I'd just give you a quick glimpse at what I've been up to. Also the Promise is coming along just swimmingly, and it isn't even two weeks until the first performance! How exciting. The promise time is my favorite time of year. And yes it is Promise time!
P.S. I thought this posted Saturday night after my computer's battery died, but I guess it never did! Oh well.

The Ides of March
I can't believe it! The weather. The sunshine. The smell of spring is in the air. And it is so so beautiful. So beautiful indeed.

Blankless
Where do I start? So much has happened since the last time I've posted. My life has been all over the place, you could say. The day I posted was a sad sad day for me. Some of my friends got into a car accident, and I had no idea that until an hour after I wrote on here. I looked back the other day and saw what I wrote. It was sort of weird to think I was writing about death not even knowing what happened that morning...
Anyways, on the positive note.. I've had a very good couple of weeks. We recently went on ski trip for our youth group, and I became closer with friends, and more importantly, closer to Jesus. Also it was just Valentine's Day! I love Valentine's day. Not for the couples or for the lovey dovey-ness of it all. But just so I can make the people in my life feel special and loved. I made all of my teachers at school cupcakes. Their faces light up when I gave them. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Like how you feel when you make other people feel good. And not just by a compliment or a quick smile in the hall.. But actually taking your time and doing something special for them. I loved every moment of it. I also spent V-Day with my best friend. Yeah, I know I talk about him a lot. But I don't really have any friends quite like him! Anyways, we had a fancy dinner together, with my family and then we did homework. Fun night, right? It was actually mostly fun. Besides the homework part. :)
In conclusion, I'm not real sure how to feel lately. My heart feels so much sorrow, and yet at the same time I'm a happy person. I always have been, and I always will be. God doesn't make mistakes. And even though this is hard to comprehend and make sense of, all things work for good for those who love the Lord.

Morning
Goodmorning, world! I'm delighted to be awakened by your presence this morning. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fall asleep and just not wake up in the morning? I'm sure it would be the most peaceful way to die. I've wondered about that sometimes. With each morning, I wake up and silently thank Jesus for letting me have just one more day. One more day to make a difference, one more day to love someone. Just one more day. If we truly lived our life as if it was our last day, I think we could do great things. Don't you?
~This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. - Psalm 118:24~
Thank you, Jesus, for this day.

Special
I have a lot of special people in my life. People that I can count on. People that I know are always going to be there for me. These people are my loved ones, my friends, my family. You name it, and that's what they are.
I know these pictures are kind of at random, but each and every single person in all of these photos means the world to me. They all have a special place in my heart, and I'm so thankful to call them my friends. I love that they're apart of my life, and there would be a bunch of little holes in my heart if I didn't have them.
~P.S. I have many more people in my life who are special to me, but I just can't seem to find pictures. Darn!~
