Siblings

I hear people all the time say they can't stand their family. I don't even know what that would feel like! I love all of my siblings so much. They all have special gifts and talents, and I'm thankful for each one of them.

~Andy~ Andrew Charles Mueller is my older brother, and my only older sibling at that. He is so talented. He can play the guitar and sing, and he can pretty much get any girl to drool over him. Seriously, I don't want to brag but once he played in the Culvers parking lot for 30+ girls. They loved him and added him on facebook the same night. He also is the sibling that I can relate the most to, and when  I'm bored I just go and hang out in his room. We have a special relationship, and I'm proud that I can call him my brother.

~Maddie~ Madeline Kathleen Mueller is my younger sister. We fight all the time, but when we do get along we really get along. I know that she'll be my best friend when I'm older, but really! I see no hope right now! Anyways, she's beautiful. Really she is. She is a lot stronger then I am, and I look up to her for that. I'm so thankful for everything she does for me. I love her.

~Simon~ Simon Wayne Mueller is my younger brother. He's strange but wonderful all the same. He knows how to make a joke, and he always seems to put a smile on my face. Sometimes, well more then sometimes, he bothers me. But he knows I love him more than anything! I can't wait until he gets older, and I can actually talk to him.

~Cito~ Jonathan Andrew Mueller is my younger brother, and by far my favorite sibling (I mean it's hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to it would be him.). He is HILARIOUS. When I'm at home I spend most of my time talking to him. I like to help him with his homework, and ask him if there are any new cute girls in class. He's the one sibling I'll be a protective older sibling to. He's so adorable and I love spending time with him. I don't know any other six year old that can recite whole episodes and movies. Seriously, this kid has talent.

Anyways family is really important to me. Especially my siblings. They are all special and unique in their own ways! What do YOU love about your siblings/family?

Snow!

SNOW. It's finally here. I hate to say it, but I almost thought we weren't going to have any this year. But alas, I was wrong. Isn't it beautiful? Snow is the signal of winter, coldness, warm fires, hot chocolate, and delicious smells. It feels like Christmas time again. Seeing the snow makes me feel warm inside, and chilly on the outside. I can't wait to make snow angles, and see the snow glistening in the sunlight. Oh how I love snow.

{and maybe, just maybe, we'll have a snow day tomorrow!}

Eye on the prize.

"Keep your eye on the prize." so I've heard a bazillion times.. But what is our prize? What are we keeping our eye on? "Don't lose sight of what's to come." but what is to come? I'm so excited for the future and everything that it holds, and has to offer. Being a freshman in high school, it's crazy all the different possibilities you have and the choices to make. Sometimes I lose sight of the [greater good]. But life always seems to catch up to me and oh yes, my eye is very much so on the prize.

Thankfulness.

So our internet was down for a about a week, but I still wanted to write about Thanksgiving.

~Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, next to Christmas and my birthday. The smells, the food, family and friends, it's all so wonderful. Everyone seems to be just a little bit nicer on Thanksgiving too. This Thanksgiving I had so much to be thankful for. A warm house, food to eat, a loving family, swell friends, and most importantly a gracious Savior. Thanksgiving isn't about the food, or traditions. It's not even about family or friends. It's about remembering to be thankful for the little things, that we so often forget. It's about seeing joy in the little things, and focusing on the positive instead of always focusing on the negative. I love Thanksgiving for many reasons, but most importantly it's a day to be thankful for anything and everything I want to be thankful for!

Gloom!

On a gloomy day it seems as if there is nothing you want to do, except take a nap, read a good book, or drink a steamy hot cup of something or other. I love gloomy afternoons, any day out of the week. They seem slower, and less rushed.. The leaves falling and the rain drizzling, makes for a perfect fall, lazy afternoon.

~Don't even get me started on how excited I am for snow!~

Writing...

Why does it seem as though writing is more fun when it's not with a pen and paper? I'm trying to find motivation to write a report on Frankenstein by Mary Shelly. I don't know what it is about writing, but I just despise it. My mom wants to know the difference between blogging and writing, and there really is no difference. Just that I hate writing. So with that all said, I'm halfway through my report still clueless on what I want to write. It also doesn't help that Frankenstein is probably the most pointless, and creepy book I've ever read!

Blah!

Three things.

Three things I love about chilly [fall] days.

Cozy colorful socks,

a steamy cup of hot coco,

and a clean kitchen.

What do you love about fall?

Count it all joy.

There is a verse that has been on my heart lately.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
~James 1:2-4~

Life as we know it.

After being inspired by so many older women, that have their own blogs, I've decided to start one myself. Though I'm only fifteen years old, people always do say you don't get any younger. So, here goes nothing!

Why does life have to be so fast? Here in America, we are the most blessed. Shouldn't we take that blessing and hold it dear to our hearts for just a moment longer? A moment to laugh, love, live. This world, as we know it, will flash past our eyes if it was never here. So take time today (and there's no better season for it, then this.) and thank someone, compliment someone, pray for someone.

Live to love and love to live.
