Busy bees

 I'm really starting to enjoy this summer. It seems as though we are busy and not busy at the same time. I wake up in the morning with nothing to do, just hanging out in my pajamas until I get a call or text from someone asking to hang out. Unconsciously, I have been filling up my summer days, with summer-y things, and I really love it. Things like going to the park, getting slushies, have picnics, going to the beach, spending time with people you never get to see, driving to a "bigger" city and going shopping, going to softball games, and eating popsicles outside in the grass. The nice thing is we still have two months of summer left too! Exciting, I know.

Goodbye

It's so hard to say goodbye. To anyone really. But it's even harder when it's someone who is so so close to your heart. Tomorrow one of my best friend moves to Portland, Oregon. What ever will I do without him? Without seeing his smile, and hearing him laugh. My heart hurts. Of course I wish him the best of luck over there, but why does he have to leave? Why does anyone ever have to leave? Tears roll down my cheeks as I write this... Sigh... Goodbye friend. I'll never forget about the memories we have shared. Keep me close to your heart, because you'll always be so close to mine.
